Steve Auckland Joins Outdo as Chairman to Lead Next Stage of Growth

Outdo is delighted to announce the appointment of Steve Auckland as Chairman, marking the latest step in our continued evolution following our rebrand from CP Media.

Steve brings decades of senior leadership experience across the UK media landscape, including roles at Metro, Evening Standard, Independent & i Media, Northcliffe Media and the Yorkshire Post.

Renowned for driving growth and innovation across traditional and digital media, Steve’s strategic insight will help Outdo strengthen its presence and build on its reputation for effective, community-focused outdoor advertising.

He succeeds Andrew Walker, founder of CP Media, who now becomes a Non-Executive Director.

“I’m delighted to be joining Outdo at this exciting time” said Steve. “Andrew Walker and CEO Mike Brennan have built a thriving business, and the talented team is poised for further growth. My role is to help facilitate and encourage that next stage of development in a sector with huge potential.”

Outdo’s rebrand earlier this year united CP Media, Eye Airports and Adverta under a single national identity, reflecting our ambition to become the UK’s leading outdoor media company.

In the last five years, Outdo has tripled in size, added 15,000 new advertising sites across the UK, and achieved 20% year-on-year growth, with a goal to reach £20 million revenue by 2027.
