Outdo CEO Named Among UK’s Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2025

Now in its eighth year, the LDC Top50 celebrates the vision, drive and ambition of Britain’s most inspiring entrepreneurs — the people shaping the future of UK business. This year’s programme saw nearly 700 nominations from across the country, highlighting exceptional individuals leading fast-growing medium-sized companies.
Under Mike Brennan’s leadership, Outdo has become the UK’s fastest-growing outdoor media company, targeting revenues of £20 million by 2027. The business employs more than 70 people and delivers impactful advertising campaigns across over 30,000 sites nationwide, including roundabout and lamppost banners, as well as bus, tram, and airport advertising.
John Garner, Managing Partner at LDC, said:
“Mike has shown extraordinary resilience, turning personal tragedy into a powerful driver for change. In Outdo, he has built a thriving business with national reach, while staying true to his values and I’d like to congratulate him on everything he has achieved so far.”
Mike Brennan brings long-standing experience in the outdoor advertising industry. Before helming Outdo (formerly CP Media), he held senior roles at major global media companies, specialising in sales and marketing strategies. His knowledge of the outdoor media sector, and grounding in its commercial levers, have shaped the strategic decisions that underpin Outdo’s expansion.
LDC’s Managing Partner, John Garner, praised this year’s winners for their impact and resilience:
“In the eight years since we launched The LDC Top 50, we’ve had the honour of meeting some exceptional business leaders. This year’s cohort has shown drive and ambition in their growth journeys, proven remarkable resilience, and together they are making areal difference to their employees, the communities they work in and society at large.”
The leaders recognised in the Top50 for 2025 are making a powerful impact — creating jobs, championing sustainability, supporting communities, and expanding internationally.
The LDC Top 50 emphasises leaders who create jobs, support their communities, and foster resilience and innovation. Mike’s commitment to delivering value to local partners and enabling new income for authorities aligns strongly with those values.
Mike sees recognition like this award as a credit to the entire Outdo team. As he commented:
“I’m delighted to have been recognised in the LDC Top 50 for 2025. The recognition is reward for the whole Outdo Media team who together have driven our business growth and success particularly in the last five years. I look forward to celebrating with them.”
